The lightweight all-rounder standard-bearer Metanium is equipped as standard with the Yumeya Shallow Pool, which is gaining support from many anglers. A special model focusing on more technical fishing has been added to the lineup. Adopting aluminum drive gear that is as strong as brass, with a view to short-range battles with shooting objects. Operability and controllability have been improved by reducing the weight by 10g from 20 Metanium. A highly accurate approach is possible not only for long casts but also for short range fishing with many casts. The sibling no one knows

While the Shimano Metanium 20 boasts quite the status for among the best casting reels on the market.

The younger brother “Shimano Metanium Shallow Edition” has improved on it in a few ways
1.) lighter
2.) Smoother
3.) Improved Casting Distance

The only draw back would be line capacity and scratches little easier.

I have been fishing Shimano reels. For 30 years, I didn’t think there was any thing better than my Chronarch reels until I bought a Metanium XG, this reel makes fishing all day effortless. Cast 20 yards farther with half the effort. I like it so much I bought another one in shallow spool. The Metanium reel is by far the best reel if ever fished and I have fished tournaments for 20 years. Highly recommend one and ordering one from Asian portal was so simple and I received them within 4 days,

It’s a great reel!!! Super smooth and awesome for flipping.

This was for my grandson and the above quote is straight from him. He is hooked on shimano reels. He had done some work for me and his options were either the $250 that he earned or fishing equipment.

Good throwing distance, small-weight Lure is very friendly. Except that the opening method of the side lid is not convenient enough, it is easy to reinstall it in the original position at the beginning, and it is easy to tuck the fishing line into the wire cup when installing the side lid.
