Much better build quality Tha American SLX DC. Tighter tolerances, smoother casting, and much better DC upgrade compared to American SLX DC. I actually got mine at a lower price with free shipping compared to American SLX DC.

Excellent product but for some unkown reason the same reel with left handle is more expansive making it too expansive to buy from Asia (when adding conversion to Canadian dollar and import taxes)

Bought two more of the Shimano SLX DC XG. Awesome reels for the price. They can BOMB the lightest lures. Really great dealing with Asian Portal Fishing. Great communication and fast shipping with no worries about whether your reel will arrive or not. I received mine 6 days after ordering which is AWESOME!

The Shimano 20 SLX DC JDM model is so good I bought 5. These reels are awesome and are extremely easy to fish. I did upgrade my handle to a standard Curado handle but still a great reel. And Asian Portal Fishing has fast shipping and great communication response.
